Editorial Policy

ÆPTIC: Journal of Plasma, Bioelectrics & Evolutionary Science

Editor's Responsibility

ÆPTIC supports academic freedom and open scientific inquiry. Editors are responsible for ensuring that all submitted manuscripts are evaluated through a fair, consistent, and transparent process. This includes selecting qualified reviewers, supervising the peer review, and upholding ethical and editorial standards. Editorial decisions are guided by the clarity, integrity, and potential contribution of the work to scientific and societal understanding.

Review Process

All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Submissions are evaluated for originality, conceptual rigor, relevance to the journal’s scope, and interdisciplinary value. Final decisions—acceptance, revision, or rejection—are made solely based on the peer reviewers' assessments and alignment with ÆPTIC’s aims.

Reviewer Selection

Reviewers are selected for their subject-matter expertise and ability to provide impartial, constructive evaluation. ÆPTIC values clarity, integrity, and thoughtful critique in every peer review.

Conflict of Interest

Editors and reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where impartiality could be compromised. Full transparency is required to ensure accountability and trust throughout the review process.

Transparency and Integrity

ÆPTIC maintains a clear record of all editorial and review procedures. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to understand and adhere to these policies. In cases of dispute or concern, the journal will respond promptly and fairly, prioritizing transparency and ethical standards.

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their submitted work. Upon acceptance, they grant ÆPTIC the non-exclusive right to publish the article under open-access terms, as outlined in the journal’s publishing policy.
